At SoCal Special Education Advocates we take the time to speak with you to determine what your needs and goals are for your child's education. As parents of children with disabilities, we understand that this process can be emotional and that the school district will often use unfamiliar acronyms and terms that make it more confusing. We are here to clarify the process, help relieve the stress and make sure that your child receives the right supports and services.

We always provide a free phone consultation to discuss your concerns and determine which of our services will best fit your needs.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Review of documents from the school district and specialists, including current or proposed IEP or 504 Plan;
- Meeting with you to assist with understanding school records and assessment results, evaluate current IEP or 504 Plan and provide guidance through the special education process;
- Attending school meetings, including IEP Meetings and 504 Meetings;
- Facilitating collaboration between you and the school district;
- Observing your child in school;
- Assisting you in finding additional resources, including evaluators or therapists if needed;
- Drafting letters or complaints.
